Watani Brand
Watani is an Afghan lifestyle brand built around culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. I worked with the brand from the ground up, developing its identity, visual language, brand voice, customer experience, marketing materials, and e-commerce website. The goal was to build a complete brand system that could carry Afghan heritage into a contemporary context while creating a clear and consistent experience across every touchpoint.
Branding

The Challenge
Watani needed more than a visual identity. The brand needed a clear foundation for how it looks, speaks, communicates, and connects with its audience.
The challenge was to translate Afghan cultural heritage into a contemporary brand experience without making it feel overly traditional or predictable, while creating a system that could work consistently across digital, physical, and marketing touchpoints.
The Approach
I developed Watani from the ground up, starting with the brand strategy and defining its identity, positioning, audience, voice, and visual language.
From there, I carried the system across packaging and printed materials, marketing campaigns, social content, and the e-commerce experience. Every touchpoint was designed to feel like part of the same brand — from the way Watani speaks to customers to the way its products are presented online and in the physical world.
